about time to replace the weather stripping for both windows. Is there anything real special about this job or is it just cut and dry. Don't think i need and special tools. Any tricks i should know about before i screw it up. Thanks Dirty.

Be careful when popping out the old weatherstrip at the bottom of the windows, you can bend the metal door frame that the clips fit in. Don't pry straight out, pry out & up. I laid a strip of metal longways on the inside to support a flat blade screwdriver to remove the outside weatherstrip starting at the front where the glass is not in the way, reversed the procedure for the inside weatherstrip.

I've never had to replace the 'fuzzy' weatherstrip along the sides and top of the window.

Something I found useful on removing the old weatherstrip at the bottom of the window (the beltline weatherstrip) is to work from inside the door, and work a puttyknife upward between the weatherstrip flange and door flange. Once the blade tip is in the sweet spot, a light tap upward on the heel of the puttyknife handle will pop the weatherstrip clear.

Good advice, used your pointers and no problem so far. Ordered a set from LMC. 116 bucks for both sides, to the door. Looked at their door panels and that stung, man prices for new goods are high but all the used ones are trashed. Mine aint so bad im rerady to turn loose of that much money.
