WCB2 (Walnut Creek)

Yeah, you know how those ole tymers are :D
SVT

I was beginning to think all this frame cleanup and prep was overkill for a dedicated wheeler. But, I'll not have to wonder about rust, once it's all done. If I'm going to keep using POR-15 on projects though, I'm getting a gun to shoot the shit with! Brushing sucks!

man, the more whiskers Jay gets.....the more he looks like an Ewok :D:thefinger::icon_rofl:

That it does, but a $46 a quart, the brush goes a lot farther than spraying :icon_thumby:
SVT

Jay, I got an idea for the E-brake cables thanks to the help of Dustin. This setup will be much easier!! Ask me about it when you get back in town :icon_thumby:
SVT

He makes a good point.

i dunno how you guys wear gloves all the time thatd drive me nuts.. they last like 2 minutes with me then i get tired of not being able to feel anything properly

I see you got the new DD in the pictures Rick. lol

Yeah, for now anyways...Can't wait to get my truck back on the road and drive it again...reminds me of when it was down for the V8 swap, it was almost a year it was down then, but the actual V8 swap only took me a couple weeks, and a week and a half of that was waiting for parts...
SVT

Why don't you drive the Chief car instead of one of the biggest vehicles on the road? lol

A car can't go places I go with SVT !! A couple weeks ago my department was dispatched to a mutual aid forest fire call in a neighboring county...It was at least an 1/8 mile off any accessible road to any fire apparatus, only way in was on foot and a 4 wheeler....And SVT :D I know SVT will take me to any fire in the county or surrounding county, as well as haul the rescue boat or recover a stuck ambulance!! Thinking of building a slightly modified response truck for the same duties (the ST), mild lift, 33" MT's winch front and rear, selectable lockers...I might even design/build a small skid unit to slide in the bed of the ST for remote forest fires
SVT

i know that, i am talking about driving a car instead of that fire truck while SVT is down. lol

Ahh, well, I would if I had one, I never got one for my department...I have a volunteer department, so I don't have a large budget. We work off of fundraisers and donations (which isn't much)...
SVT

ahh. Now it all makes sense. We have a volunteer department too in Lawrenceburg.
