my thermostat went and my waterpump was leaking out the weep hole so i decide just to do them all at once. Everyting up to the water pump came off easy until i got to the pump. I read everyones advice on them sprayed it down with pen lube a day before and a hour before, But of course three heads still broke off. I got the pump off and there is about a 1/4 inch or more of the stud still sticking out. what will be the best way to go about this

tap on them with a hammer straight in several times.
then heat the studs with a torch (not red hot) and
melt a birthday candle into the threads. then put
a big vicegrip (not a fake one) on and try to turn
the stud in and out gradually increasing pressure.
don't strip it or you won't be able to weld a nut on
which would be the next try.

i used jb weld and put a nut on there gonna give it a day to dry, heat it up and give it a go

The jb weld on the nut did not work to well. Its kinda cold so it could be that. I end up getting it with Pb blaster a hammer a torch and some new vice grips and about a hour of work. Its too cold up here i need my heat.

i put coolant in the truck and let it run with the cap of for around a half hour till the gauge read around normal. I still very little heat kinda luke warm at best so i drove it around for a while and still no heat all. are air bubbles that hard to get out of the system? or could it be something else?

Prolly a plugged or bad heater core.....mine really can cook you out

are they hard to change. way to cold to drag the hose out and try to unplug it

pretty easy, and the heater cores are pretty cheap too

20 bucks for the part 50 bucks if a shop blows it out. About 15 outside today i needs me heat.
