Hi everyone,
I have a question about by my 1997 Ranger 4.0 liter. I changed out all my heater hoses yesterday, and found the water inlet tube on the intake manifold rusted / pitted. I cleaned up the corrosion and reassembled and so far no leaks.....I was wondering if anyone else has run into this. It appears Ford only sells the entire manifold, but the coolant tube has its own part #. It apperas the tube is a press fit. Does anyone know of a 5/8" barbed fitting with pipe threads, that I could possibly screw into the manifold after threads are tapped in the manifold?
Any thoughts and ideas would be much appreaciated......thanks
