When I go thru a puddle faster than twenty or thirty mph, water splashes up onto my belts and they screech for a while. I've done the can-shaped K&N Air Filter mod and I'd like to keep as much water out as possible.
Do any companies make a splash guard for the B2 that goes under the belts?
If not, do you suspect that a fiberglass guard fabricated at home would be sturdy enough?

Edit: BTW, its simply impossible for me to avoid puddles. My whole area floods on a regular basis and our roads are the worst in Oregon, with potholes everywhere.

skidplate it, that might take care of your problem...

Naw, nothing will really help. If you hit water that fast you are always gonna get the squeal!!! A skid plate will help a bit but that is all...a bit. Maybe time for a new belt? My new belt does not squeal after I get some water splaced up inside the motor area. My old belt did squeal a bit when water splashed up in there. But....I don't hit water puddles at high speeds either. You need to slow down some!!!

slow down? you save the noise from happening, and the possibility of hydroplaning. wow, "That was Easy"
