ok so theres a short between my swich and my pump beacuse the pump works when i put power to it so wtf

If it were a short, I would think smoke, or a blown fuse somewhere. It is probably an open circuit. If you have a test light, check for power at the motor connector.

speaking of which, did you check your fuses?
is the switch funtioning?
