Washer coil spacers. I may have made a mistake?

I was going to do the washer lift this weekend but may have made an oops. I thought that I had read that I needed 1.5 inches of washers to make 2 inches of lift. I don't have a welder, so I had a guy at work weld them up for me. However I just read another thread that says 1.33 inches. Should I cut one out? I don't want to sag in the ass, that will annoy me more than the front end rake. What will the 1.5 inch stack take me to, 2.5 inches?

in all honesty it depends on how much the stock springs have already sagged....

but, more importantly is how much thread will be exposed on the stud....as long as you have at least 1 thread showing out the lock-nut then you are good....

if 1 thread isn't showing after you tighten it up.....just take the stack back out and cut one washer out.....

Thank you for pointing that out. I just went and measured and I have 1.25 inches of stud hanging out. I just cut 2 washers off each stack to make it 1.125 which should give me about 1.5 inches of lift (I think), or hopefully a little more.

if it looks like ya still have room you can put back one of the washers on the bottom without welding them....

Yeah i ran a stack 1.25" tall with out welding them, no problem

my 2" spacers measure 1.75" and gives about 2" of lift
