I guess I didn't realize it was 6pm pacific time, I haven't really followed it that well and my brother had told me it was 6pm in each time zone.

To make a long story short, I was in the yard cleaning up from doing yardwork. I came back into the garage with some garbage to throw away and dropped some, as I was bending down to pick it up I spilled my beer! As I walked in the house I checked my phone and it happened to be exactly 6pm! Thusly proving the spilled beer marking the beginning of the end.
