Wanting more info on my 88

So I'm looking to put wheels and tires on my 88 xlt 2wd but have no clue on what sizes fit good and what kind of clearance issues I may have. Any thoughts?

Assuming you want a street all-season tire I would go with a 215/70-15 on a 6" or 7" wide rim or a 235/60-15 on a 7" or 8" wide rim.
2wd's at that time came with 14" wheels standard so if you want to keep your stock wheels your tire selection is a lot more limited. I'd recommend moving up to 15" wheels.
If you want something a little different you could use 16" Explorer wheels, plentiful enough in junkyards, and a 225/60-16 tire.
