Another curious question I have is…. Does it matter if it’s 4x4 or 4x2 pcm if it’s got a manual shift transfer case?

According to this list, 4x2 matters and manual or automatic matters. And of course engine size, this is all the 4.0 computers for a 86 ranger.

Another question for someone…. Say for instance I found a 1996 explorer with the same criteria… Manual transmission etc…. Would that one work?
