I have a 94 Ranger 2wd with the 2.3L & would like to put in a 2 or 3 core radiator. I just got done installing new H20 pump & new upper & lower rad. hoses,so im wanting a radiator that will still fit in same location as single core stock one & use the same hose configuration.

Also Im wanting to have one that has or can be equipped with a full radiator fan shroud.

I wish I would have gotten a dual core rad when I replaced the one in my truck. (4.0)

It works fine 99% of the time, but hauling my 2200Lb tent trailer in the mountains, the truck was definetly heating up on the long grades.

Never got CRAZY hot, I was watching closely, and it certainly cooled right down fast going down the other side, but I was wishing for some extra cooling.

Oh well, I'll know better for next time.

you can put the big explorer radiator in with little modification, the only difference is it's thicker, and the hoses are on the opposite corners. For the hoses I used a '86 turbocoupe lower hose and split the stock upper hose in the middle and took it to the hardware store and got a 45* copper pipe elbow and two clamps to splice the hose together, been working for over 3 years, cools well

i have a 94 ranger with a v8 and i installed a bigger radiator. im not sure if it would work on a 4 banger or v6. i got it from jegs or summit cheaper than james duff.

I did what scotts90ranger did, I pulled a 94 explorer radiator. I got the turbo coups optional top flex hose and it fit just fine for me.

Mine sat on the factory mounts and bolted in with the factory bolts.

$150 and it pretty much drops in the truck, it is going to be hard to beat that with a custom aftermarket radiator.

It both surprises me and it doesn't surprise me Ford would switch around the hoses between a I4 and a V6 when otherwise the radiators would interchange. The outlets were on the same place as my 2.8 rad and they lined right up with my V8.

I have heard some guy say it will overcool their smaller V6's, so be aware of that.
