want to put a jump seat in 03 ranger 2 door, what yrs. will fit?

hey, so heeres the deal, i want to put a jump seat in the back of my ranger (i know some of you on here dont think its a good idea, with the extra weight it adds to the truck and such..but put that beside you).

i have a 2 door extended cab 2003 ranger (it has little storage compartments where the seats would be). I have been searching around at NUMOROUS junkyards trying to find a seat, and they all say they have them for a 2 door, and i get there and they dont have the right ones! starting to piss me off

i hear that ford made a body change at some point...soo im wondering what year truck im looking for in the junkyard?

i know the truck has to be 2 door obviously..but what year? 01+ ?? 00+?

please! someone help me out!

ALSO! if i pull a seat from a junked truck, will it just bolt right in if i take out the compartment that is there right now? or will i need a whole new side panel for the inside? and do the seat belts on those seats fold out with the seat?

Not sure what you need to bolt one in, but around here, a 2 door super cab that new is unheard of. That may be the problem.

ahah i know, i cant find one like it to pull the seats, but coincedently, my good friend has a 2 dr super cab, with factory seats in the back (2004).

anyone else know any information

Ive got a stended cab with the jump seats that fold up in the back... is that what you are talking about? If so we might trade if you are near.. I'll never need them.. I have no use for passangers in my ride.

ya thats what im looking for, as long as yours is a 2 door, i think a 2002 or newer seats would fit

No it has two small back doors..

bump, what im really wondering is will the seat assembly just bolt into the pocket where the compartment is? and is the seat belt attached to the seat assembly? or would that be put it seperately? would i need a whole new side panel??? thanks for the help
