So i have a 92 ranger with a stock bumber and a brush guard on it. I saw a nice one that i really liked but not sure how thick of steel plate or the dimensions. Does anyone know Someone in PA that doesnt charge an arm and a leg to make one??

Yeah im definetly not the most experienced welder and i want it to look kinda pretty. How much would it cost to make one if i could get hold of a welder though. Like steel prices

Yea!! Make your own or have one built for you. You have a 92 and can get ready to mount bumpers for your truck. The newer models don't get that kind of luck....lol. Check Ebay. A guy from Pirates.com makes bumpers for Jeeps, Exploders and Rangers. See Ebay for his bumpers. Search Ebay for Ranger winch bumper. You will see his stuff. Good prices on a winch bumper with shipping. He told me last year that he was still thinking about building them for newer model Rangers I would like to see what he can do.

Straycat was referring to this: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=852643

I was actually looking at it this morning :icon_cheers:

James Duff has them too: http://www.dufftuff.com/category_s/78.htm

Just cause your not a experience welder doesn't mean you can become an experienced grinder. At least thats what my old ag teacher told me

I built mine from scratch and have about $200 total in it, that was INCLUDING having someone weld it for me. Im in williamsport, PA btw.

3/16" is plenty sufficient.
