Wacked-out check engine light

Thanks. I disconected the battery for a few minutes and that fixed it. Ck engine light is now off. With a new PCM, and if a good sensor is installed, the dirty contact or frayed wire should be it. But this is the wacked out ran
ger. I suspect none of this. I'm not reasured at all they fixed anything at Ford. It started again all on its own but I am short $2100 now.

That sensor looks pretty tight to replace. I watched. Youtube video on it and have the method to do it if I need to.

Although the light was on, it ran great and restarted many times. Normally, if the light comes on for a po340 code, will it begin to run badly and then end up not starting?

Broke down again tonight. Engine started jumping and bucking and then stopped running all within ten minutes and 3 miles. Started gradually then got so bad engine would not run. Thaught it was fuel starvation so I put in a new filter. No change. Any ideas? No ck engine light came on.

Truck is in a local shop. I got a call from them saying that they are getting some bizzare codes. Ck engine light is not on. They got a code for oxygen sensor and are getting no reading from the cam position sensor plus others. Sez things are pointing to a PCM problem. Just bought one for $2100. They will finish tomorrow. I'll bet they Can't find a problem conclusivley a d that the truck will run just fine with no repair. I'll drive it to the Ford dealer that sold me the $2100 PMC and make them fix it right. Yeah right.
