For Sale VW TDI engine for Ranger Swap

Have a mostly complete ALH TDI with 125K miles (that’s not a lot for a TDI, the one I drive has 380K miles) that is just sitting in my garage. It came from a car that was wrecked. I didn’t need the drive train, i needed the interior, so I kept the engine with the intentions of starting another project. Posting this here in case anyone is interested in swapping a TDI in their ranger. Want this out of my garage because I’m not willing to do the work to put this in a ranger myself....so $250 bucks and it’s yours. With a little more cash, I’ll deliver for a reasonable distance.

It had a timing belt recently installed before the wreck, but then I had to steal the injection pump. I can install a spare pump on it and reset the timing belt since I have all the tools if needed.

Boxing it up sounds like the cheapest option. I would pay for the cost of materials and shipping of course.

So it's even possible to swap in a VW TDI motor? Please from what specific motor did you get this engine from?

It is, the easiest way would be to retrofit it with a mechanical fuel pump. There are a couple guys on here who swapped all the electrical over and made it look stock. That isn’t easy or cheap. I want it to put into a 50’s willys pickup.
