VSS Info

I just did an engine swap in my 98 explorer sport and the wiring harness is out of a 99 Explorer. The VSS is on the transfercase I put in it and the 99 is on the rear axle. So I need to know were I can tie in the VSS so my speedometer will work.

If you swapped computers you should have that part of the wiring harness(trans wiring) so you just leave the differential VSS unhooked

The new trans harness doesn't have the vss on it. It is off the 99 explorer witch was on the axle.

The ones on the axle go to the ABS system first then to the PCM.
