visor bolts

i have a visor and dont know what bolts to use to mount it without worrying about in flying off. any suggestions???

I too just got a visor with no bolts and thinking of 1/2 hex head self tapping with thread lock and silicone... any one else?

i am just concerned about it flyinf off at 60 mph. is there special bolts??

this is what i did to lil red. but drilled starter holes and minus the threadlock . been over 70-80 many times and never had any problems with the roof leaking either.

Personally I'd use riv-nut's and silicone them when I install them, then just run 1/4x20 Stainless bolts in whatever head style you choose.

EDIT- Just noticed the post by Woodyedmiston....same thing as what he posted...

^ Those look like a good idea. Visors normally come with standard sheet metal lags to install the visors. That's how the one on my old Ranger was installed and it never had any issues at speed. It didn't even vibrate noticeably...
