I just ran it through a Ford decoder and it says that is not a valid Ford VIN. Please verify the VIN number and submit it again.

What vehicle is this for? I can only tell it's a 2009. No vin decoders are working for it, if you tell me what it's for, I may be able to find a vin breakdown chart and figure it out.

Hi, this vehicle is ford ranger e I need to doceder The vin to by parts for im.

Checked Several sites and found two that gave little info:

motoverse.com does verify built in thialand 2009 model year [check digit- 9th doesnt validate as a good vin though yours is a zero (0) and should be a two (2)]

us.vininfo.com shows it as a mazda unknown model with twelve (12) available stats GOOD news: one (1) manufacturer record from Febuary 1998; Bad news shows eleven (11) hits on stolen databases.

What are the possible odds of that? Happens here all the time. Someone steals a car in the USA and they take a VIN off a wreck and the next thing you know it's running around down here with all new documents. But they don't waste time on Rangers for that. It would be a Ferrari, Mercedes, BMW, or some other high dollar ride to make it worth the effort.

Not saying that is what happened with yours... I would say there is a less than 2% chance of it. Was it originally sold in Portugal or brought in as a used vehicle from someplace else?

Only you can do the research on it.

By the way the more this thread develops the more suspicious I become of it.
