That thing doesn't have much travel front or rear. I'm not impressed by that video. Same guy has a video comparing his ranger with a hilux on a bit of a hill. I'll take the hilux.

I watched that video. The Ranger just had a rear locker but the Hilux had both a front and rear locker. Hardly an apples to apples comparison.

It will be interesting to find out more about them. Is this like a pretty flexy Skyjacker kind of lift or is a Rough Country differential housing resting on the pivot bracket waiting for the hole to be punched kind of lift?

At this point it is all greek to all of us.

2" is like a leveling kit or t-bar crank of old too, neither really improved offroading a whole lot.

I will say I don't think he would outlfex my stock TTB... probably pretty close both ends really.

I agree it's not an equal comparison of being able to put power to all 4 wheels. But flexing enough to keep all the wheels on the ground would have helped the ranger. Its disappointing that the manufacturers won't give us something that's a lot more capable without us having to spend lots of time and money modifying their offerings.

More people want a nice driving/riding truck than a trail rig.

OEM's have never really been big on flexible suspensions from the factory.

I know. That stinks. Wish I could afford an H1.
