I'm sorry I just find it impossible to believe someone wiping Wd-40 on a tire caused a catastrophic tire failure. No it's not good for your tires, but your tires are exposed to way worse as part of their daily life.

I doubt it was a one time thing. This sat at the dealership for 9 months.

No, but I know a guy name Shriner who is a Shriner.

true story- many years ago my grandmother had a flat tire on the way to church. I stopped, got a jack out , raised the car & gave the tire 1/2 a turn. told my puzzled grandma : “ there- the flat spot is on the top now”.

My grandma would smack me for that.
