i have a 2003 Ranger edge, 3.0L

it seems recently whenever i do about 50MPH or more, that the truck seems to vibrate ONLY when i step on the gas pedal. when i let fully off the pedal, and just coast, the vibration stops, but when i accelerate again, even a little bit, the vibration kicks back in.

any thoughts?

It PROBABLY has bad u-joints. Get under it and wiggle the driveshaft at both ends to check for play...or the other scenario and more likely-Look for "rust dust" around the bearing caps inidicating siezed up or dry u-joint bearing caps...hope this helps--Josh BTW the ENTIRE TRUCK front to back will shake violently if they get bad enough!
