Need some help. Im new here. 91 Ranger 4wd 5 speed. 4 inch lift. When I turn the wheel left I get a major vibration . I can feel it in the steering wheel and floor. Everything is new. Bearings, rotors, ujoints spindle , outer axle. New tires and new rims. Front end alignment. All torques are correct as well. Any ideas.

I locked the hubs in and nothing really changed. Even putting truck in neutral and turning left . Series noise and vibration

It sure does sound like you are still in 4x4 mode. Just to make sure, I would unlock the hubs, and then jack each side of the front up till you can turn the tire by hand, and while turning it by hand, hubs unlocked, take a peek around the back and make sure the axle/u-joint is not turning. Hubs can get stuck in sometimes. I would do both sides just to make sure the hubs are unlocking.

I have tried with hubs locked and not locked. I even pulled front drive shaft out. When unlocked axles are not turning. I have owned this truck 16 years. Never had this problem til now. It was setting for 3 years while I redone everything on it.

Is this vibration happening while the truck is sitting stationary? Or when it's rolling? Wasn't clear to me when I re-read the symptoms.

Rolling, turning left.

New tires, new rims. I would turn hard left and then get out and see if the edge of the tire is rubbing the radius arm in the back. I had a f150 that did that. I had to get a wheel with a little different offset that pushed the tire out a little more and that cured it. It was a vibration when the corner blocks of the tread rubbed the radius arm as I was moving.

You might see rub marks back there also.

That's a good thought . But turning left would take the back of the wheel from the radius arm. I guess it could be in the right side but does not feel like. My rims have the same back spacing as the stock wheels but they are ten wide. I will check this though and make sure I'm not running anywhere. I feel like I have plenty of clearance but for sure I could be wrong.
