Hey guys i'm getting some vibration in my 94 v6 4.0 2wd. it's only occuring from 5-15mph whether i'm on the gas or not, on the brake or not, or in gear or not. I've been looking up some options on the internet and i have:

* Wheel/tire imbalance
* Bent rim
* Out-of-round tire and/or rim
* Driveshaft imbalance (RWD primarily)
* Driveshaft bent
* Defective or misaligned U-joint
* Defective CV joint
* Excessive driveshaft angle (4x4 trucks)
* Worn wheel bearings
* Exhaust vibration
* Missing chassis/drivetrain damper weights

which of these seems most likely (or unlikely) for us ranger owners?

any tire or wheel problems bad enough to vibrate at low speed...would cause serious issues at higher speeds.

you dont have cv axles or excess driveline angle (if your truck is stock).

my first guess would be warped rotors, or out of tune motor.

Have you done anything to the suspension ?
Because most likely the vibration could be coming from having an in proper pinion angle.
And you might have had the angle change if you hit something also.

Ever had your U-joints replaces? if so, was the driveshaft installed properly ie: the same location that it was removed? if it gets installed 180degrees out then it will viberate @ certin speeds. If your Rotors were warped then the viberation would get a LOT worse during breaking. You may have lost a wheel weight, and an out of ballance tire doest always get worse at higher speeds.

thanks for the help guys i'll let you know how it goes i got the day off tomorrow. i think im gonna check to make sure the ujoints are secure and then look over the tires/rotors for strange wear.
