vibrating,shaking, and clunking??? ASAP

ok well im not totally sure if this is the right section but when im driving my truck hums and vibrates pretty loud and when i turn to the right it will hum, vibrate and clunk very loud then when i turn back back straight it doesnt clunk? and when i turn to the left it just vibrates and hums??

what could this be?? i really need to kno because im not totally sure its very safe to drive or not

Sounds like right front outer bearing and possibly spindle. I dont recommend doing it yourself. If you know an honest mechanic and get the new spindle from a wrecking yard it should cost about $650 tops.

Sounds like the bearings on both sides. They aren't sealed so if you get into water or mud over the hubs you need to pull them apart, clean, and re-grease them.

Back OT now. The hum/vibration would be the bearings. The further gone they are the louder/worse they get. If the bearings have gone too far they will burn the spindles. The clunk could be a ball joint as well. They will clunk when turning.

ok thanks alot well my auto teacher looked at my truck and he looked at the u Joints on the front and he said the middle one was pretty much gone the drivers one was almost gone and the passenger one was not to bad but had a little play

could this cause my problems? or would that not hum and vibrate? im not sure but i need to kno ASAP

no they are on free but ya i went an changed the wheel bearings and that seemed to fix it thanks for the helpp
