very urgent question

motor in takes a day thats the easy part
fitting everythin else takes time and trips to the part store
when i put on my power steering pump the pully was rubbing the fram
so i put in a slotted spacer to lenglthe the adjustment to clear the frame
stock belt wasnt long enough
had to drive 30 km to a part store 3 times to get the right belt
same with rad hoses etc
sometimes what should take 5 minutes can waste the better part of a day
i have been working 5-7 hours sat and sun for a month now
im down to exhaust and air filter
cost just over 2000 in parts including 400 for my friend to pull the motor from the donor car and drop it into the empty ranger with mounts already installed
when you fire it up for the first time all worth it
i also have minimal experiance and minimal tools
all i used was a 60$ socket set and drill if i had a hoist i could have saved the 400
also the donor car was only 200 good 302 with aod
frustrating at times but thats why we do stuff like this satisfaction
