venango county,pa severe storms 7/24/10

well i had to do pr last night to a camp ground when Venango county,pa was put under a tornado warning. my mission was to make sure the camp ground was aware the possibility for a storm with a tornado alerted by NWS and our local 911 center. i took the opportunity to snap some pics while i was in the campground. i was there till 4 am when the power was restored.the pics were taken from about 20 minutes time

lol RSH , I had a Motorola HT1000 hand-held two-way radio clipped on my belt and had one blaring from my truck. some friends of mine were spending the week in that campground. they sent me a text and asked me how serious the watch was they herd on the radio, i replied watch hell it was upgraded to a warning!!!!!!!!!! then i got a reply that just said " no power-no phone" the cell signal stinks in that area..i thought oh s#$% and flew up in case it did hit I would be able to be warned if a storm spotter was able to warn quick enough.
