Hey guys my 92 2.3T is running great and has over 12,000 miles on the engine now... but I'm wanting to upgrade to a 3'' VAM and a newer ECU. I know you have to use the 3 wire O2 sensor but i was wondering if would have to re-pin the wiring harness? What are the other two wire on the three wire O2 senor?( I'm guessing one is a hot wire) Right now I'm using a 86 TC ECU, VAM, and the single wire O2 sensor. Just wondering how much work it would be to swap over?

Or just go to Turboford.net, youll definately find the info there.

Which ECU are you running right now and which one do you want to swap to? You can do alot of stuff with a turbocoupe ecu with a chip and a little tuning. Just depends on how much you want to spend to get more performance.

did you use the TC harness? I just used the ranger harness which was already wired for the 3 wire sensor, but am running a 4 wire sensor, the 4th wire is just a ground for the heater on the sensor.

the 4 wires are as such (not the right order, just what the wires are):
signal
signal ground
heater power
heater ground

as I said above the 3 wire sensor is the same as the 4 wire except the ground for the heater is in the case of the sensor instead of separate. I can help out what wire is what, but not right now, maybe tomorrow...

Thanks guys....I'm running the 86 TC computer and harness. My truck was a 3.0 so I had to use the TC harness. What is the best ECU to run....SVO or 87-88 TC?
