does anyone know if the esslinger valve cover has a vent on it? if not then can i put a small filter on the oil filler cap instead of running it into my breather? I am going to get a new carburetor that does not have the hook up for the vent.

Was going to reply to your other thread...but, yes you can put one of those small breather vents on...I did that to try to keep the blow-by from foaming up my breather but it started blowing oil all over the place...can't post pics for a few days...

If the cover you are getting is exactly like the pic you posted you could put a vent right on the opening...or run a short hose somewhere...I run mine to the back of the head so any drips go to the bell housing...
