Im a rookie mechanic to say the least, but if its on a ford ranger Ive repaired it...

Now I have a leak comming from my valve covers, and some pressure loss

93 3.0 v6 2wd.

there are small bolts with a 1.5"-2" prong holding them in place and I need to know if there is a special tool to remove these or just a extreme deepwell.

I ask this because its seemingly impossible to land a wrench on them and my deepwells arent deep enough.

you should be able to get them bith a deep well, i think i used a 3/8 drive because it was deeper than the 1/4" drive set i have. there shoud be o-rings on the top side of the valve cover that the bolt and its sleeve are pressed into. too bad i didnt take any pictures of my VCs when i did my build.

X2 on deep well, just took mine off a couples of weeks ago.

thanks guys, ill try the 3/8 drive

love buying tools.
