ok,ok, I know I should of took a picture before I started...but..I didn't.
86' 2.9 auto

I'm replacing the vacuum lines, original Little ones are brittle to say the least.
the red one that goes to the port just behind the throttle body and leads up to the a vacuum canister, (just under the air filter box) does that plug into the rear most port... closer to the firewall??? or the one more toward the radiator?? or don't it matter??

and the green vacuum line on that goes to the EGR valve to the ECRC solenoid that is attached the inner fender...is the green line on on the top or the bottom port of the ECRC solenoid?? or again, will it not matter?

thanks in advance

Does this help? 86 is like 87?

yes its similar to what is under the hood of my truck.

but the v reser doesn't really indicate which is front or back ports

took a wild stab at it and runs fine idles lower now...so I'm not sure that I got it right or had a slight leak or if I got something switched yet
