Vacuum hub question

I have a 2000 3.0 Ranger with the Pvh 4x4 system
I recently had the front end repaired after hitting a deer.
I went to investigate why the 4x4 was not working and noticed that the vacuum hoses were not attached to the vacuum port tube on the hub housing.

My question is will the hubs be “buggered” up now after driving around in the snow and slush and that tube exposed.

In fact the hoses were no where to be found and does anyone have any illustrations on where and how to reattach all the vacuum lines.

Thanks!

Not much to it

Diagram here: https://www.therangerstation.com/ho...ord-ranger-pvh-hub-operation-troubleshooting/

Each front wheel has a vacuum hose that runs to a "T" on the front axle
From the "T" 1 hose runs to passenger side PVH Solenoid

Then vacuum hose from PVH solenoid to Vacuum reservoir or its hose to Cab(HVAC system)

No, shouldn't have hurt them to be open, anything is possible though
