Ok so I need your help here. My son who is 13 just bought a 1987 ford ranger that has the 302 swap done. When we went to get it they had to jump the starting solenoid to get it to start. Owner said that it needed a new solenoid. Motor runs strong. We get it home and we are doing this as a project for him. He unhooked the old solenoid and we went down and got a new one. I see the letters on the top posts and it has two side posts. I am not that vehicle inclined so what side gets the positive from the battery and what side gets the negative? Also where does the positive and negative for the accessory leads go. Thanks for the help in advance and I am sure I will have more questions in the future as we work on this project.
