mainly having electrical problems, and i know im starting to get confues and lost.

engine, 91 f150 speed density setup bankfire
ECU-2.9l v6 harness bankfire
engine harness: modified v6 harness adapted to 302 injector harness of 86 f150 and TPS plug changed to match 302 v8 harness.
intake:91 f-159
tranny: 90 AOD

Start savin' up some $$$ and get a PAINLESS wiring harness. All connections are labeled and easy to follow. From the sound of it, you may have spliced and soldered one too many connections.

If you can't figure it out or are lost, only option is to start over

Get the ECU that matches the motor you're using. A 2.9 ECU is for a 2.9 period. Get out our DVOM and start testing the splices you've made to see if you've accidentally allowed the leads to touch one another.

so does the knock sensor need to be hooked up, and a O2 sensor hooked to get motor running or no? just wondering, gonna go threw wiring Wednesday after work, complete going to redo the injector harness(since i think the problem could be there with 20+ year old wiring), and go threw the engine harness, and switch ECU out(got like 3 of them the 2.9l auto, 86 5.0, and 91 5.0(was just thinking if did plug the 91 5.0 CPU in, could be my ground probelm, it sends power to the non Existent AOD).
