hey guys ive wanted to do the swap for years now and finally got the wheels turning.
( I have read the tech. forum info )
here is what i have , its a 97 2wd auto with the 4.0 (extended cab)
I found a 96 v8 explorer complete auto 4 wd for $700
what would i have to do to use this in my 2wd truck? i would like to have a standard but i can settle for the auto. do i just need to find a 2 wd trans and have it plug and play ?
also i like in the lovely state of CT and i need to stick with OBDII i believe the explorer is OBDII?
