i swear if ford was listening, they would put a V8 in the ranger. They claim there isn't enough market for them, but look at how many people have done the swap. That is only around half the number of people who want a v8 ranger, the other half doesn't have the time, money, or skill to do the swap. There is a huge demand for high powered tiny trucks. I just do not get why ford refuses to do it. How hard would it be to just take the explorer drive train and plop it into the ranger. They share the same platform.
I doubt it will happen.
But you know, Ford is the only one of the Big Three not to put a v8 into their small truck. They are the only ones not to update their small truck, and they are the only one of the Big Three that is not asking for bail out cash. Maybe they know something we don't?
