v-6 to v-8

So I really need a new exhaust and wanna know what would be best for tube size and what not for the 3.0L V6 and 5.0L V8. I need a new one now because mine has fallen apart and later this summer I am gonna do the 302 swap. And yeah hope you guys get what I am sayin. I am plannin to use a straight pipe to flowmaster muffler and then an exit pipe.

2.5" pipe would be enough for a mild 5.0 and wont cost you any power with the 3.0.

Like what's your definition of mild? A rebuilt stock or a partialy modified, like after market heads, pistons, machined and rebuilt?

meaning if your aiming for less than around 350 HP or so you'll be fine.
