From about 30 th north the snow was not bad. You guys definitly got some of worse of the wet heavy snow.
I'm on the other end and say bring it on.

ya. i know right. the one day i get to sleep in i get awakened by Jose and Fransisco with there damn snow blower.
Man, what a night. There are busted trees all over the place. The power was off from about 4am until Noon from a downed tree (according to the Rocky Mountain Power recording). Then I remembered something this morning......I need a new snowblower, LOL. Mine is on it's last leg. Time to watch ksl's classifieds.
Hey, brainstorm here.......you could go thump Jose and Fransisco upside the melon for waking you up and give me their snowblower. Then they won't have a snowblower to wake you up with.

uhhh ya. good luck with that. i just made the journey from 1700s and state to 7200s and state. took forever. i wish my front diff wasent on the floor in the garage.

That snow was no match for the Ranger. It took me 50 minutes to get home, it usually takes 15. If it weren't for all of the jackasses on the road I would have made better time. I don't go faster than I should, but 15mph in a damn Expedition is ridiculous.

As of 9:30 the snow has stopped and this big bad storm is nothing. Was out and about when the storm hit. Going to the freeway, and on the freeway, there was nobody in my lane. The otherside was packed.
glad most made it home well.

What's this about the B2 Bomber being shot down?????
The only hurdle I ran into last night was locking my keys in the truck at work while I was brushing the snow off (damn alarm). I had to go make me a slim jim to get into it. It's sad when it takes 2 minutes or less for me to open my truck, I used to lock my keys in my Explorer all the time.

lol when i was wtchin the news they made it sound like this was the worst storm in decades. last winter it snowed this much in vegas. it didnt stick very long. but it was funny as hell watchin people that have never drivin in snow.

last night after a 2 hour commute i was trying to turn up a very steep driveway on 5400 south, the traffic was thick, and the snow was deep and deceptive, i had to take a run at it to get up the 45 degree driveway with a foot of snow on it. i mis-judged it about 2 feet so at about 25mph the 18" tall retaining wall that was next to the driveway (and covered with snow) took out my steering box, my pitman arm, my drag link. and my steering arm (the part that attatches the drag link to the driver's side knuckle)
in essence imagine accelerating up to around 20-25mph and then hitting an 18" tall, square-faced, and very solid obstacle with only your left tire, i wheeled over it but my steering wheel was totally locked, i had to abandon it in the front yard (where it ended up) of the home i was visiting. after tearing into it today i found the damaged mentioned above
