What kind of gas mileage do you usually get? Tell your engine and vehicle.

My 1990 Ranger 2.9L V6 usually gets around 15mpg. But now in the winter it's getting around 12 or 13.:bawling:

I usually got 17 summer & 15 winter. 2.9L 4x4 auto

there's about 5 different threads on here about this... search. you should find them.

and idk what i get since my tires make my speed and mileage wrong... :icon_confused:

all good bro.
i just laughed b/c if you search, most overposted threads or something like that.. you'll see this is one of them. :D
personally idc.. b/c i could just answer or not.

my 4.0 auto b2 when it had 3.73's and 30's got about 18 in town and up to 23 or so on the interstate (if i set cruise on 65, no faster...:icon_rofl:)

94 2.3 5speed 2wd, I'm seeing 17 avg, 19 at best, :bawling: and I have no idea whats wrong with it. I've been driving like grandma.

there's your problem... spin the RPM's out and see what happens! :icon_bounceblue:

i shift between 3k and 3.5k, its the best mileage ive seen, when i go higher i get 13-15 :headbang:

My 87' B2- 2.9 5spd gets about 17mpg and my 92 Explorer 4.0 5spd has been getting 21mpg

my '93 4.0 ohv with the 5 speed manual, stock 235-15 tires, 3.73 gearing, cap & totoal weight of 4,300 pounds has got a best ever of 19.5 , gets 17-18 most of the time, 15 in town, winter milage drops drastically for many reasons, winter blend fuel, longer engine warm-up times, resistance of cold driveline fluids, hubs being left locked-in, ect. id say i get 15 at the very best in winter, heck i dont even use 5th gear in the winter because of carrying extra weight in the back for when in it snows.

I get about 17 mpg, 5.0L, auto with OD, AC on, close to 6k lbs., 33's, 4.56's and a heavy foot :D

Last fill up was 17 mpg. Kind of surprised me as I have 350 lbs of sand in the back and idle my truck a little longer since it's winter. My truck has a 4.0 OHV with 5 spd manual and it's a 2wd supercab. I am running 215/75/15 passenger car tires at 40 psi with stock 3.08 gears. Speedo is slightly off when I changed from 215/75/14 or was it 215/70/14? I can't remember. Was slightly off before because stock 2wd tire size is 225/70/14.
