Bought them off eBay for a ranger. Those are stock Mazda/ranger springs. It doesn't sit level. Should I set the weight of the truck on it and hopes it pops in or should I put the spacers on the grinder till they fit?

Sorry for the huge pics I'm doing this from my phone and don't know how to resize. Holy hell are they huge

Can you clarify on how they don't fit properly?

Try putting them on the ground and using your weight push them in place using a twisting motion to seat them on the flat spots of the spacer. If it doesnt work then use a little grinder action. Ebay parts arent always an exact fit.

I can't get the bottom ring to wrap around the spacer. As you can see the most I can get to seat will peave the coil lop-sided.

You could grind the inner part of the lower coil so that the flat spot on the space will go flat up against the spring, and at the same time take a little off the spacer as well but I would NOT take more than 1/8th inch off each, the fit no matter what could be a problem when you get all done, I would get good ones that fit, if you dont need the truck right away

I was also worried about grinding to much off. For now I've set aside these coil spaces till i get a different kind of coil to try them on. Or maybe till i grab the torch and bend out the coil to accept the spacers

If you do decide to grind the spring itself, keep in mind that the heat caused by grinding can affect the metallurgy. Spring steel doesn't like heat. Wouldn't want the spring to become brittle and break. If I had no other choice but to grind I'd choose to grind the spacer. Plus, when the time comes to replace your springs, you won't want to have to bust out the grinder on your new springs.

I personally would not mess around with heating or grinding on the spring. Try putting weight on it instead. If that doesn't work, grind a little bit off the spacer. Otherwise you may have to look into other options...

Ya looked into that. None of the hardware stores had those washers. Gotta head out to bitter root bolt and ask them

When I lifted my 93, I got my all hardware from Fastenal. Had to order everything though...
