I’m right in the middle of reassembling my clutch and transmission, it’s been a 3 day process in the cold, in the rain, under a tarp (the wind destroyed my pop up rain canopy overnight). I cannot remember where this bracket goes or what it’s called, or what it’s used for. It’s a 2001 2.5l xlt RWD. Any help is greatly appreciated.

IIRC that goes on the top two bellhousing bolts and is used to hold a section of the wiring harness in place.

Sounds reasonable, I think that's what the O2 sensor connector on my '97 was attached to...

Hey Shran, thanks so much, I was racking my brain trying to decide what I was going to do if I couldn’t get a decisive answer. I’ve been trying to be meticulous on the clutch rebuild so I didn’t want to leave it off. But I’m so burnt out on this project that I wasn’t about to start taking shit apart again in the hopes that I would find it’s proper home., All that is left now is to install the starter, shifter, clutch pedal push rod and that bracket. Thanks again man.
