ram90, do you still have the make and what model that hose is/was? that looks like the angles I could use if the one i am using every goes south.

I used to use a flex hose for my lower.
Worked great for awhile but pinched shut over time.
Replaced with a couple chunks of an Explorer hose and a pipe and it works much better.

I have a box of old and new rad hoses and pieces for exactly this reason. And I save copper pipe and exhaust pipe pieces for joining.
Yes, a 16" dia x 2" thick electric fan.
