just as weird as the stalling problem started over night. overnight last night from no change yesterday when my son tryed it till today tryed it again and now its trying to idle! not right at all revving up and down on its own and sounds like its not running quite right. still havent been able to get a bite on the rusted cam sensor bolt even with extractor socket. so that hasnt been changed yet. but i am hopeful now we are going to get this problem fixed. also my son said he hadnt noticed a check engine light on during all this. he thinks maybe someone at some point may have taken the blub out for it. which leads me to something my brother had said in passing when i first got the truck. the battery light is on in its dashboard has been since i got the truck but the charging gauge was always normal. there is a broken wire or pulled out from the clip for the alternator. we unhooked the battery to see if alternator was working. the truck stayed running. after that my brother had said he found it really odd that it had the light and gauge both. not normal he said usually only one or the another not both. now with what my son about the check engine light blub could be very well possibly since it may have had its dashboard changed or something.
