Looking like a good start!!
Are you tubign the fenders or something?

I think CJ springs would be pretty damn stiff under a Zuk, unless you took some leaves out of the pack.

I've heard good things about Jeep YJ (I think) leaf springs as well, under Samurai's.

Yes YJ springs are very long and very, very soft, but require a lot of work to get under a zuk (YJ's are 2.5" wide, Zuk is 2", CJ front springs are 2"). The CJ's are not as stiff as you think and gave me 2" more wheel travel, I can pick one tire up 24" now, with the same setup, just stock rear springs gave me 22". Also it moves the rear axle back 1 1/2", longer wheelbase helps ride.I am eventually exo caging, but the zuk is as high as i want it, but want 34x9.50's under it, no fenders= no fender rub. Next is my rear upper shock mounts then modify the stock rear spring pack to put under the fron, it's close to 3" longer than the fronts.

Anyone know how to cut the rear fenders of a zuk in a nice semi circle pattern so it looks factory?

Dunno if this will help...the only pic of a zuk that I have:

Not sure if his are cut or not.

I would just cut the fenders to that body line that runs around the wheel opening. If I'm not mistake, that is what my dad did to our old Samurai. Then he took that universal flexible fender flare stuff and put it around the opening, since the stock flares were removed.
