Unkown Switches

UPDATE: followed the wires the green ones from switches is seen in picture connecting to different blocks with 4 prongs each. The other photo I don't know what that part is or why the red wire is cut....

So the green wire is hooked to a pair of relays.

A better picture of the label on the box in the first picture would be good. Looks like maybe some sort of pressure switch. Trailer brakes maybe.

The black, wire covering bundle, all connects under the green wires. Don't see hoses attached. It is wired for trailer electric... The red wire from the pressure controller is straight to battery. If is not connected well, truck shorts out when you try to start it

Wow! That’s an impressive mess. It looks like some kind of manifold with a pressure switch at each end and a cable actuated valve in the center. Don’t know what it used to do. But I’d be ripping that stuff out to clean up the engine bay. You might be able to repurpose a switch and relay for a set of fog lights.

(Fed/rev control for hydraulic winch?)

I searched around online about line lock brakes. I don't have an ebrake controller. Foot pedal parking brake next to clutch but that's it. Maybe it's to control trailer brakes with the trucks regular foot pedal brake?

Line lock is used n drag racing. You get the rear wheels wet in the water box. Pull ahead a little bit. Apply brakes. Set the line lock and it holds hydraulic pressure on the front brakes only and maintains it when you let your foot off the brake pedal. Then you can do your burnout without having any pressure in the rear brakes. When finished, release the line lock. Pull ahead and stage at the tree.

Race on!

For fun. There are several here in this forum who do it. Look for @Maritime Drag Racing for one

If you have a local drag strip near by, check their schedule and go watch one night. Try to go on a “test and tune” night. You will see all kinds of vehicles. It’s pretty fun to attend.

Specifics are they have an extremely strong frame, are VERY lightweight, and small block V8s, turbo I4s, and turbo V6 all fit under the hood very easily.

So maybe instead of ebrake Lever in the middle like drifters, I could flip this switch and line lock my brakes?
