Underdrive pulleys Pro and Con

I have been doing a great deal of reading about the benefits of installing Underdrive pulleys to my 2000 Ranger 3.0 FFV 4x4 AT. I have read that there are some increases MPG's and power but, I have also read that there are some problems with lights dimming due to the underdriven alternator and problems other accessories. I have also read that using an accessory overdrive kit cancels out the gaines from the underdrive pulley. So having said that what are your experiences? Thanks for your input.

I have underdrives pullys on both of my trucks for 3 years and have had no problems at all. the only time lights get dim for is at idle, and thats not a problem with me.

CONS--None

Pros---Frees up a little bit of power and improves fuel economy.

My truck has had zero charging issues in 3 years with the U/D crank pulley and e-fan. No issues with the truck running hot either, even when towing.
