Unbelievable...

I just can't see them risking stealing it while we were open (which they did) or how they got it out without attaching it to a truck... And if they had a mount for it, I see them using it.

But I may call around tomorrow... Cause I'm the poor SOB who will be riding on the 24hp Kubota with the 6' woods blade behind it if I don't find my damn plow! Well not mine, but I am the one who uses it.

merry christmas from your local crackheads! hope you find it.

if it has been since last snow season since you last seen it, it is probably long gone, and it would take an act of god for you to find it.

shit nothing surprises me anymore. if it isnt nailed down someone will take it....sometimes even that wont help

No, it was just over there a couple weeks ago. There is still rust marks on the ground from the blade and feet.

The sad part is that it wasn't kids that took it. It would take like 20 kids to lift something like that. It had to be a bunch of full grown adults trying to support their crack habit. The worst part is that they were dumb enough to take it AFTER scrap prices dropped! If I was trying to support a crack habit I would have atleast had enough sense to take it in the middle of summer when scrap was at an all-time high and cash it out right away.

damn that sucks

steel isnt worth crap right now, so i doubt it was taken for scrap. unfortunately you're probably right... i'm sure someone is driving around using it. any sort of serial number on it, paperwork for it? is it unique enough that you might notice it in a parking lot on someones truck?

when it comes to not getting a job for money, you would be surprised at how much work a thief is willing to do.
had some stolen batterys come in,i knew thet were stolen because you dont ride around with 2 8D batterys in the trunk of a escort. a paving company parked their equipment on thursday came back on friday and the batteries were gone off their sweeper.major job to get to these things!

Ask AllanD about things getting stolen....

Like a 7.5 Aerostar axle

Back around 1996-97 I was working a midnight shift and stopped in to a car dealership to talk to the security guard that was there at night. He was telling me that one night he was watching (2) guys trying to steal the plow off a truck in the Dodge lot across the street. He called the police and they caught them.

It's hard to believe someone would still something so heavy, but they do.

That's crazy. I'd call it in to the police and ask if they can well.. look for it.

Ex: Have the police look around for a plow of that brand and description while their doing their routine.. whatever they do. If they see one, check the serial numbers. It must have them. Can police officers do that, Jim?
