ultra power parts

What are the opinions on these 'name' parts that rockauto sells? In some cases are they are significantly cheaper than name brands.

The description states "Ultra-Power products come from a variety of sources including re-packaged, well-known brands and ISO/TSO/QS certified overseas factories. They share some of the same suppliers as the big brands do but keep costs low to pass the savings on to you".

Never used them.

But they probably are hit and miss for quality like anything advancedoreileyzone sells

Just buy Motorcraft.

Most of those are made by SMP or Specialty Motor Parts which has hit and miss quality, it's just private packaging for different stores like Napa's Echlin, Autozone's Duralast and whatnot...

Depending on what it is I might take a gamble but not always...

I got an Ultra Power rear driveshaft and blend door actuator for my old Sport Trac.
Driveshaft was $400 and everyone else was $900 and up. No issues with either.
