So... I sold my 2wd DD for a 99 5.0 EB Ex, for more family seating. That's got me thinking about my wheeler...
Tonight I met a guy about another 99 Eddie Exploder. 4L, a/t, 4x4. He bought it for the trans, rear axle and seats. Body is near mint. Only $400!
As far as the build,
here's my minimum required mods,
5.0 swap, factory efi
Automatic trans, manual valvebody
D60 ft
Sterling rear
Full interior cage
Triangulated 4-link F&R
Full-hydro steering
Beadlocks
38" minimum tires
Low ride height, long travel
It'll have plates, but be a trailer queen, legalities aren't a concern. Must be safe for the family, dependable, and capable. Trying to keep a reasonable budget, yet built right...
What sort of ideas do you guys have? Suspension? Transmission? T-case? Chassis? Body mods? Axles? Protection? Recovery?
