The twin I-beam suspension on one of my 92 2wd Rangers is really starting to make noise and it's time I put some effort into re-building it.
One thing I have learned from posts on this board was that it is best to use poly bushings on the fixed parts like the radius arm and factory style rubber bushing on the moving joints like the pivot arm bushing.
I was also happy to see the PO replaced the radius arm rear frame rivets with some grade 8 bolts so it will be much easier for me to replace the radius arm bushings
If I'm committed to rebuilding the whole suspension (shocks included) and replace every bushing, I wonder if there is a smart way to go about it as I would like to get it done in one day so I can have the truck back on the road quickly.
Any suggestions on where to start and steps to follow?
