Basically i'm looking to get my g/f a tv for her dorm... she keeps talking about something around a 22". which would be great for her dorm.

anyone know where they special deals are online? anyone else looking around for anything right now. i've checked the normal stuff online, bestbuy, walmart, target, hhgregg....

anyone have any input on which tv to get? looking to stay around 200 or under.. she'll kill me if i spend 200 but i'll do it anyway :icon_rofl:

any input?

All the TVs in our house are from Goodwill, believe it or not. The 25" Zenith in my bedroom was $4.99 and the 27" Toshiba in the living room was $12.99. Both are like new and work fine. They aren't flat screen or HD, but for those prices who cares.

im with F.O.R.D here, check out thrift stores for good deals, aint much in arkansas though. the tv i bought for 5$ is a 1984 emerson with VHF/UHF knobs, works fine for me.

Yeah I'll check.
Wanted the flat screen bc they're so light and easy to move. It's for a dorm..

i have a 26" vizio led from walmart and i'm pretty sure they make it in the 22" flavor... i paid around 300 for it a year and a half ago, but i know the prices have come down. vizio is quickly becoming one of the best brands for the price, and they also come with a pretty good warranty if i remember correctly, plus the led tv's have a lot better color... i would def. suggest checking them out

I find them on the side of the road all the time...some of them even work...but they are not Digital or HD or flat screen (except the ones that get run over)...but I agree with the thrift shop idea too...some great deals on other people's throw away...

on black friday i picked up 2 24" dynex (best buy's brand) tv's for 70 each, and they work amazing, the only complaint that i read online is the sound, but i havent noticed any issues with sound from it at all, but its my bedroom tv, i have a 42 vizio for a main tv and still don't see an issue with the dynex

i'm sure the 70 was only for black friday but the normal price is probably a little over 100

all the tvs ive owned were side the roaders, the reason i bought the 84' emerson for 5$ at a thrift store cause it was winter and all the tvs are full of snow... my dad bought a 19 inch for 200$ last winter. id check out craigslist and more "upscale" thrift store and pawn shops, walmart would have the best deal if you want a new one.

Keep an eye on slickdeals.net. All sorts of great deals get posted there, and you can probably find something for a small TV if you search around.

she needs to be studying not keepin up with the kardashians

if she wants a new one, wait til the after christmas sales. my wife and i bought our panasonic 46" flat screen 2 years ago for $399 or some shit

thanks. i'll for sure look tomorrow!

Big Lots had Emerson 22"ers for about $100. Not sure if they still got them tho.
